This past Saturday, July 23, 2011, Nocturnal Outdoors was at Lake Guntersville
to sponsor the Sunset Showdown/Hayden QB club tournaments. The Sunset Showdown
was a 3 fish tournament to benefit The Experience's annual "Dream Hunt." The
Hayden QB club held the "Big Fish" portion of the tournament. There were 12 boats
that participated in the Sunset Showdown and 35 individual anglers in the "Big
Fish" tournament. The temperatures started out in the mid 90's and slacked off
very little after dark. The bite has been slower on Guntersville with the increase
in temperatures and Saturday night was no exception. Bo Hunter and his partner
were able to find 8.36 pounds of bass to win the Sunset Showdown. Phillip Bremmerman
and Chase Lusk teamed up to land a 5.85 pound largemouth that took the number one
spot in the "Big Fish" tournament. We would like to say "Thanks" to everyone who
came out and supported the causes and made it a great event. Keep the website
